If I want to get PR 0.85, will I have to delete PR_SP 0.8? I'm just asking this in case (I would think not).

no you don't have to delete it.

But it is correct in assuming that you cannot play PR SP through PR.856 correct?

Im unsure of whether you mean you can install PR.856 and ALSO leave PR.8 on to use to run SP through, or if you mean you can actually run PRSP off of PR.856

Earlier, I mistakenly tried running PRSP off of .855 and it resulted in crashes on all maps I tried, then I realized I was an idiot and downloaded .8

yea at the moment you need 0.8 to play SP. we're looking into a hotfix to make 0.856 work with SP ASAP.

Sorry for being a noob, but how do I play PR 0.85?

And to the question of how you play pr.85? It can only be payed on multiplayer for now, so you need to get both the Core and Levels downloads and install it as its own install[not over your current PR (. install. Do this by renaming the PR folder that currently has .8 installed to something like PR08 or something, then when .85 installs it will simply install into PR and make its own clean install.

Well, I just completely uninstalled PR 0.8 MP. I still Have SP 0.8 (and even 0.7) around. The problem is that I cannot see any pr.exe to run PR.

Are you wanting to play singleplayer or multiplayer?

Because your posting in the Singleplayer thread and saying you uninstalled .8 is really confusing me as to what you want to be doing...

You need .8, NOT .85 to play Singleplayer.

A: As of PR 0.85, unlike other versions, it no longer requires pr.exe. You need to update your shortcuts to launch bf2.exe. More information on how to do this is in the Installation Guide wiki. See HERE[GO TO THE LINK ABOVE TO FOLLOW THE "HERE" LINK].
