THANK YOU PROJECT REALITY!!!

I would like to a moment and personally thank EVERYONE here at Project Reality for their hard work and dedication to developing such a thorough and well planned mod.

It is apparent from playing this mod for just about a week now that you guys take your time and do things right, which is more than I can say about some other mod teams out there. Instead if trying to rush a complete mod package out to the public, you are thoroughly testing your product, obtaining feedback and ideas from the community, and last but not least, you are actually developing the mod FOR the community. This is sadly becoming unheard of in online games. Anymore, all the game companies are more focused on the quantity of products they sell and pretty much say the hell with quality. You actually care about the quality of this mod, which seems to be an accomplishment for a game/mod team.

I must say that these forums are some of the most comical (you guys are a bunch a damn comedians!) and constructive ones I have seen in a long time, especially for a game mod. I am a moderator on a couple forums out there so I know that they are not “naturally” this clean and organized. The moderators and administrators here are doing a great job on keeping the bullshit out. With that said I would like to thank them and anyone who has ever posted a thought or constructive idea/opinion on these forums. The maturity and openness here is great and the flow of constructive information is phenomenal!

Being a free lance website designer/coder, I find all the “little things” that I do to make a site clean and organized often times go unnoticed. So, I’d like to say to Drew and Requiem that this site is outstanding. It is simple and easy to use…two of the most important aspects of any website. The graphics look great and everything is very easy to navigate. So my hats off to you guys for a job well done!

As for the Military Advisors, thank your both your service to your country and for your valuable time spent here providing this moding community with your knowledge and expertise in real-life military combat/tactics. The information you provide is one of the most important aspects of this mod and without it, this mod would never be able to become even close to real life.

Another important position in this outstanding moding team is the Public Relations team. Without you guys posting updates and releases all over the web, this mod would still be sitting on the shelf like a Nintendo GameCube. You guys keep us informed and up-to-date while making sure all the information the gaming community provides makes it the other parts of the team and vice versa.

Finally, a big and final thank you (if you are still awake…lol) to the founders, developers, coders, and modelers of the BF2 Reality Mod. The product you guys have thus far put out it is of the highest caliber and you deserver more recognition then I can ever give. I am currently attending college for computer programming, so I tend to respect the often “dirty” job of being a coder. Skinners/modelers tend to get most of the gory, but without the coders behind them making everything work and run fluently, this project would be nothing more then a bunch of texture-maps on a someone’s hard drive…lol. So thanks for writing/altering some kick *** code.

God lord, this started out as a damn 4-liner thank you note and it has somehow morphed into a novel written on the word “Thank you.” I’m stopping now with one more thanks for all your guys hard work. Keep it up!

Thanks, (pun intended)

Yea, us coders never get any recognition. :-D Thanks for your support! I'm just glad that we are able to put out a mod that people like, it makes all the work worth it.

Thanks for the props. We always like to hear kind words like these. Don't stop there though, we also want to hear your opinions on the mod and what you think should be changed/improved.

The moderators do a very good job at this but a lot of the credit also has to go the community in general. The people here are a class act and really do "police" themselves (just don't mention the war ;) ) and it's these folks that are a huge part of what makes PR a great mod to play.

Absolutely! That's what's kept me here since september 2004. That's what kept me patient. All the great guys on here with who you can have loads of fun. And serious conversations too, when necessary. :p

Well I'll say thanks Wolf, I know I can keep sending you jobs to do by PM and you'll do them quickly which is a great help. A shout out therefore needs to go to UK_Force as well, and Wraith for keeping the tournament on the straight and narrow.

Over here, people like PUB-Gaz always seem to be a fair, moderating, and valuable force plus with great testers like Gaz and Wraith I know the Mod can only go from strength to strength. And so I must also thank the mappers (DEDMON's new one looks good!) and most importantly the DEVELOPERS and CODERS - without them the mod wouldn't exist and we wouldn't be here.

So thank you all - if I haven't mentioned you by name its because I haven't really come across you - but thanks anyway!!

Hey, thanks.
I only just joined the R-PUB team, so I can't take any credit, but I totally agree with you. This mod is truly something different, not only for its realism but for its professionalism and goal.

That was beautiful slick *cry*. I'll be honest, it's posts like these that make me really feel proud to be working on this mod. I am TRULY happy that the community acknowledges the work that every division of the PR team does on a daily basis to serve the community.

I especially enjoyed reading your post Slick. You pretty much hit every point and really made me feel great - not only for myself, but for the mod itself.

I guess I should really be saying Thank YOU! Without the community we wouldn't be half as good as we are. So again, thanks, and I hope you'll enjoy the coming releases as much as the current version! :D

Oh, I don't plan on it. I have absolutely become consumed by this mod. It has rejuvenated my loved for the game and I will do whatever, whenever I can to help out the mod and/or the community as a whole.

Simply saying that I "helped" you guys out or just gave some tid-bits of input to make the mod better would be an honor in itself.

This is a top-notch organization which obviously has some superb leadership which provides a clear and distinctive direction for its community. I noticed I did not give enough attention to the Project Reality founders and leaders. No organization could have accomplished as much as you guys have without them guiding the way. So I would like to give the biggest thanks to Requiem for founding this organization and JS.Fortnight.A for leading the project.

Well i am not goin to say thank you, there is a simple fact why: You have done so much that my measly thank you is noware near how much i can express the delight of this mod.

Thank YOU Pence. :D

As I've said time and time again- we are LITERALLY nothing without a good community. That's what separates us from other mods that aren't as well known and don't have as much esteem. The truth of the matter is that it REALLY is the community that gives life to a mod, and you have all done that.
