so whats up with picking up the enemy kit geometry?

to me it doesnt make much sence to pick up a enemeis backpack and helmet. maybe for the INS but not for the brits or mecs i dont know if any one noticed but they both (the mecs and brits) look the same if you swap out the helmet and the rifle. so why did the devs make it like that it just makes no sence. and is there any plans to change it back?
