Tried to find an answer for this, but I didn't.
Why have you removed the instant death from making a headshot?
Not only is it not real at all, but there's no point anymore trying to kill a squads officer or medic as a sniper (in particular).
Now all I do is buttshots on whoever's unlucky enough to stumble around in my sights, since it's just a larger insta-"kill" area.

Headshots insta kill, but the person will be critically wounded (i.e. revivable)
I disliked this change also.

They changed it because of the new deviation (from what I was told at least).

But does it make sense to put in realistic deviation, but you arnt allowed to give a realstically catastrophic wound...

That would be true, if the deviation was realistic...

How much would a bullet or a tank shell deviate from 2 meters?
10 times out of 10 it's always wounded.
(Have 2 PC's on one table - can shoot myself all day long:twisted

Was actually looking for an explanation - good man to bring it up.
The only way to get a sure kill is to take out people in a vehicle.

I would have Rico11b answer that for me, for he explains it better than I ever can.

Imagine how the Snipers must feel. Taking your time and selecting an enemy officer, planting on what was a headshot. Just so a Medic can prone dive and get him up.
Not all of the shots you take are good ones. They can be obstructed by geography, vegitation and structures. I would say it's about 50%-75% of the time the shot is almost always affected by an object in your line of sight.
Not sure who made the decision about Headshot removal, but I'm not fond of it. Not because of Snipers mind you, but the fact a Headshot is not something you get up and brush away.

Also, the feedback forum is closed for a reason. And it isn't because we want you to make your threads in general discussion. For the love of Jebus, have some patience.
