ye, I finally got a email though to there new Community Manager (who apparently likes BF2 mods) and managed to get this, only took 5 years... still better than nothing

Have they done anything like this for any other mod previously?

ye, OPK a few years ago, BFP2 was up before us recently but that's it, with any luck they should do some more in the future.
