Killing Civie on rope = negative points

Hey guys, been playing for a while now, and today on Ramiel we encountered a full car of civilians... yep... 6 of them, and they jumped out and ran away. Anyway, I'd already arrested 3 of them, and was going for #4, but he was further away and had thrown his grapple up. So I thought "har har my sneaky friend, lest you forget that you can be shot while ascending thine rope" (
pr manual page 15). So I popped him while he was about half way up.
And then? Yay, -100 points and a 130 second spawn, because the game still punished me for killing him even though he was on his rope. I wasn't impressed, to say the least. Especially considering I had a grappling hook SM right near me and we could've chased him if I'd known there would be a penalty for the kill. I dunno if it's something easy to check, but could someone maybe have a quick 'squiz' at the code to make sure the rope-killy part wasn't accidentally commented out?
kthxbai... oh and 0.85 has reinvigorated my passion for PR... thanks for bringing the good fight back, and let's never talk of that 0.8 deviation again

yeah i think it is bugged...
I killed a civilian reviving an enemy and i also got my score reset and negative points.
So it surely isn't working as it is suppose to.

exactly the same happened to me too....(i killed him 3 sec after he began to heal the revived guy)
we ran the next civi over, at least this works.

Heh yeah I got the watch your fire message once a civi had pulled out the epipen ( though impatient I shot him )

Me to if you shoot a civi and he is healing someone you still get -0 points they must have forgot to load the new civi system in the 0.85 ):

yae its annoying... yesterday i shot an PKM guy... a civi came cross the street and revived him... i shot him again... civi revived him... so i schot the civi and got the penalty ... i was so shocked that i forgot to shoot the PKMguy ...
Im virtually certain that the civi was not jesus and he had to use his epipen.

Will check out if there is a problem with the punishment mechanics.

sorry but I have to say psy... THAT WAS ME!
We so bailed when we spotted you guys coming around the corner. probably the first to be arrested. Anyway, maybe checking it out properly one time wouldn't hurt. You know spend some time seeing what gets punishes and what doesn't.

I thought this was confirmed in another thread... The same thing happens even after they have revived and healed a fellow Insurgent. Someone must have forgot to add that particular script in...

Same happened to me... Saw a civvie runnig to save his mate, i waited unti he started curing him and then i put a bullet in his skull... morale? NEGATIVE SCORE 130 sec spawn
At least take out the part on the guide that says is ok if u shoot a civvie on rope or while healing, otherwise it get really frustrating

i was on Ramiel the other night....round was almost over.....
heavy fire fight going on for the last cache....seen a group of 3 INS and one collab .....looked around the corner...opened fire on the 3 INS.....collab had his medic bag out trying to heal them.....so i tossed a nade in there to make sure i killed all four....boom !..... -100 ...

Im glad you still get negative points for killing a civi if they have epi pen or medic bag out. I was thinking all these changes would revive civi like it was in .75 and under but no. Atleast a downed civi knows the ********* who shot him gets punished no matter what.
And devs can I ask why about the civi suicide/ arrest respawn? Are you retarded? You know you can disconnect then reconnect faster then the 5 minute spawn time?

err? You still keep your score and everything. Only thing you lose is that amazing 5 minute spawn time

I can't actually reconnect faster than my spawn time, but that's not saying anything good about the collaborator's spawn time, just that I don't have a friggin supercomputer
Plus, disconnecting opens up new problems if it's a full server
