Chechens have MarPat?

I don't have a picture of it, but the chechens seem to have MariPat camo pants on. Or is it something similar that they have in that region? Just seemed weird

Cause we seen ALOT of picture during the Russia-Georgia conflict, and those guyz where wearing MARPAT.

USMC & Georgia did joint training operations a while back. Georgians got M16A2s, M4s, MARPAT, Humvees and undoubtedly more. I'm sure it was a benefit of becoming one of Bush's "Nations of the Willing" as part of the GWOT.

they didn't get humvees.. there were some that then were taken by the russians.. but those were still property of the US and waiting for shippment back to the US or whereever they were stationed :)

Look at a map : they're neighbours, the military clothing may very well have spread after the Georgian conflict among other things. It makes perfect sense to me and I found it a nice detail for the Chechens to wear those. I thought "hey the skin artist has been watching the news". Not a surprise, but a nice touch.
