Thank you for fixing the M14. in .8 it became super useless. you were better off shooting the m4 at a distance with the acog scope. now it is the sh*t! not only is it accurate again, but its got the double zoom like the sniper kit. please please please don't ever change it. Its perfect the way it is in .85!

Except for the missing 3p textures

It has 3p textures, I think...

i can zoom with the m14 by right clicking but i cant zoom the sniper rifle doing the same, why? it seems that the sniper rifle have only one zoom or now you zoom with another key? and what is the difference between the m14 and the m21 looks like the same to me but i guess the m21 is older or not?...

The M21 is a modified M14 for DMR purposes. The main modifications is the lack of a full-automatic firing mode, but otherwise it's just a regular M14 from my understanding.

I think it has one zoom level that's just as zoomed as the M14 2nd zoom the reason why the M14 get's a 2nd zoom is do to a marksmen will be in CQC ""close quarter combat"" more often the a Sniper that should almost never finds him self in CQC with out a spotter.

M14 does own now, i like it. One of my weapons of choice

M14 has two zoom levels because it does in real life, while some of the sniper rifles in game do not have this option in real life either, or so the dev's said.

Dunno about the textures, maybe someone else knows.

If it's a M14, and not a M21, why is there no selective fire for it? Or is it a gameplay concern?

Second zoom on m14, what do you guys talking about? I only see one zoom.

Anyway, M14 got too much recoil to shoot full-auto.

M14 has two zooms, 3x and 9x, iirc. The sniper rifle has only one zoom, but its 10x zoom.

Well, in reality, M14s DO have selective fire, correct? If that's the case, why not allow it for PR? Yes, the recoil would be high, but it would still be useful for getting out of tough spots such as ambushes at close range and the such.

Thanks for rambo and travis responses, now that andrew talk about the selective fire of the m14 i haven't realize yet if it have or not a selective mode, but if the m14 have it in RL should have it in PR...

the difference between M14 and M21 is basicly the adjustable stock and one specific matchbarrel and that all M21 lack the automatic modus, while on M14 both can be found, they can have the fireswitch, or not, and most to all currently used rifles are M14, that use newer stocks and barrels, but not the ones that would make them a M21.
And also most of the currently used M14 are not capable of automatic fire, oh i forgot, to the M21 belongs also a certain bipod.
