I can't seem to hit a darn thing except in prone. Am I missing something?

Rifle deviation in PR is different. Firing from the hip, unless standing still, is highly inaccurate. If you want to fill the area with bullets on full auto, this is what you do.

Now, if you want to hit something accurately, you want to:

1. Use your weapon's sights.

2. Hold still or crouch.

3. Fire semi-auto, and with some wait between each shot.

Follow these simple steps, and practice a lot in training, and you'll be gunning folks down in no time.

I was doing about 45/10 in 0.8 and now im doing like 45/2 28/0 using a rifle

stop count to 30 and start shooting bang 1 , 2 ,3 bang 1, 2 ,3 etc if your new to PR you wont be able to run -An- Gun anymore stop aim fire dont try shooting someone and walking or walking going prone and trying to kill someone 50m away only time run -An- gun will work is point blank range.

Shot count to at lest 5 then shoot.

counting to 30 will be boom head shot!

Since it is your first post i assume you are new to PR?

read the manual and it should explain many things to you.

As far as accuracy, you just need to let the weapon settle a bit for it to get better.

It depends on the range. If the enemy is right in front of you, your best option would be to spray full auto or bursts. For everything else, use semi-automatic and pause between shots to maintain accuracy.

The interesting thing is that this is also applicable to vBF2. Since I've started playing BF2 as if it were PR, I find I get some of the highest round scores and best K/D ratios, while the people who use typical nilla playstyles and call themselves skilled are getting picked off down by me with an assault rifle at over 100m.
