Shooting with Assault Rifles in 0.85

I want to write about my shooting tactics for assault rifles.
I don’t really know, is it a correct guide or simply some unsure experiences of a player. Maybe some mod of the board will close it. But I guess, I’m not the worst player, and this is how it works for me now:

First of all, in 0.85 you have to really care about deviation only at long distances, in all other situation it’s the recoil of your weapon, you have to deal with. As you can see there is no point to use AK-47, because you get bigger recoil but still need three hits. Here are basic information’s:
Image

A. Range: Hand to Hand

I. Iron sight

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, and 5.8 )

Here you should use full auto until the enemy is dead.
Of course, when you have the time, then you should use your iron sight.

If your enemy diving, it happens often enough, then you should shoot and move to left or right at same time, it works because the diver mostly cannot follow you with his sight so fast.

Not to forget enemy is down but not really dead, he works maybe now as spy for his squad, so I change the position.

2. G-3 7.62 NATO

Because of bigger recoil it’s better not to full auto but to burst 4-6 bullets.

II. Optics

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, and 5.8 )

Here you should use full auto until the enemy is dead.
You should not use your optics at this range, because you have not the time for this.
You have no cross, but the left hand (the finger) show you always where the cross should be.
After a bit training it should not be a problem to auto adjust left-hand on enemy and spray him to death.

2. G-3 7.62 NATO

Because of bigger recoil its better not to full auto but to burst 4-6 bullets. If enemy still not down adjust him to your left hand and burst again.

B. Range: Short

I. Iron sight

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, 5.8 )

When you look through your sight and see enemy at more or less full seize, then it’s a short distance for iron sight weapon.
You have low recoil weapon and have not to worry about deviation. So burst him with 4-6 bullets. If he not down, then he should be wounded and shocked, so burst (4-6) him again.

2. 7.62 NATO

Here is all the same but you should burst with 2-4 bullets because of the recoil. Feel free after this, when you have the time, to change the angle and wait for enemy medic.

II. Optics

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, and 5.8 )

Here is all the same as with iron sights, only the real range is bigger, what you don’t notice because of the optics.
You maybe want to start aim for foots or *** because of the recoil.

2. 7.62 NATO

Do the same as with iron sight.

C. Range: Middle

I. Iron sight

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, and 5.8 )

When you look through your sight and see enemy at more or less half seize, then it’s a middle distance for iron sight weapon.
You have low recoil weapon and have not to worry about deviation. So burst him with 2-4 bullets. If he not down, then he should be wounded and shocked, so burst (2-4) him again and again.

2. 7.62 NATO

Here is all the same but you should burst with 1-2 bullets because of the recoil.

If I have the time, to be sure to get enemy down, I do the same as for long range, watch ---> D.

D. Range: Long

I. Iron sight

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, 5.8 )

When you look through your sight and your enemy is small, then it’s a long distance for iron sight weapon.
You have not to worry about deviation because long range for iron sight is not really long. So single shot him until he is down (with AK-74 and SKS as insurgent I didn’t wait but still hit the target).
Notice: very long range is when you see only a point on your screen, here should start to think about deviation, but I’m not sure, make it sense to fire at such distance without optics. Your target maybe will run away and other enemies around will know your position.

2. 7.62 NATO

Here is all the same but you should adjust your sight more often because of the bigger recoil.

II. Optics

1. Small caliber rifles (5.45, 5.56, and 5.8 )

When you look through your optic and your enemy is much smaller than half, then it’s a long distance for scoped weapon.
You have to worry about deviation. So wait 5-6 seconds first, then single shot him until he is down. I count so, 1-22-2-22-3-22-4-22-5-22-6.
You maybe want to aim for head.

2. 7.62 NATO

Do the same as with iron sight.
You maybe want to aim for head.

E. End

Notice: that is how it helps me to get mostly not bad K/D.

If you want do the same.
