I was wondering, I know if you remove the weapon useage when in a vehicle you can have a much more detailed interior, which is cool...even if you can't do the Gen Kill. Impersonation because of it

But is it at all possible to have the avatar's head etc move to where the person is looking or is that not compatible with the current setup?

Apologies if this is deemed as a suggestion its not intended so, I tried finding the lynx thread where this was at least partly explained, but I failed.

You mean like when youre sitting in the back of a truck?

truck? you can use ur gun there still.

I mean in the 50cal humvee, or the lynx.

The guys inside can't use their gunz, you can look around, but the avatar remains statue still

I agree with your suggestion. It's easily do-able with the check of a box in the editor. It would be useful and great to replicate some epic Gen kill moments!! They would have to edit the view range in some of the vehicles but that's not complicated...just tedious.

^ are you saying its possible to have the avatar move with the player's vision without losing the new detailed interiors? - just to be clear. This is about my curiosity more than anything.

I do believe you've misunderstood his post. He is saying its cool that you can't use a weapon in a vehicle. Because it allows us to have more detailed interiors. What he is asking is the unarmed soldiers riding in the humvee, dont move at all currently. He wants to know if it is possible to have their heads turn in the direction they're looking. A good question, i wonder if its not hardcoded.

The avatar does move, only heads move around, though I'm not sure if this is scripted to go with where you look or not in the passengers seats, because it sure isn't in helos/jets.
