Was playing a round on barracuda. Over comms some where I heard that we killed two American Snipers and got there kits. We also on our team had two snipers. Then some how we killed another American with a sniper kit. I thought that there was only allowed 2 sniper kits allowed in the world for each team at a time. Here is a screenshot.



Also here is a weird on that happened the other day. Sure it is a Bf2 bug but here is a screen shot. 7 in one squad.

Are some of those also marksman or does that have its own icon entirely?

could have been really lucky team to have all its own sniper/marksmen AND from the other team?
*edit* after rereading your story, I also dont know then, unless engineers story is the case, but I dont remember either....heh.

And the squad bug is old and annoying

(there were old versions where stolen kits were not removed form the kit pool... i remember a insurgent squad all with the US .50cal Barret thingy on Basrah!)

Those are marksman rifles. The sniper mini image is a long rifle. Marksman is a scope.

Nooo.. this is a bug, or just difficult to explain. Marksman is the rifle, sniper is still the crosshair.

There is no pickup sniper kits in PR anymore, so this is definitely some kind of bug.

Maybe the other team was still able to request new kits even when their 2 sniper kits were held by the enemy?

Umm yeah Cpt. Obvious probably.
