Those extra buttons on your mouse

I'm not so sure if anyone else will find this useful but whatever.
I found when I started playing PR that it was stupid to have to stop and press B to talk to my squad. So I set one of my useless extra mouse buttons to VOIP and now I can Run and Talk and shoot all at the same time! Thats my 2 cents

wel, I can reach b with my thumb while I do stuff, so it never bothered me, but my TS bindings are on my mouse, I find too many extra buttons just get in the way though

Have you been able to bind the middle three buttons to do anything? No matter what I try, I am always unsuccessful.

sure, but I didn't try the plus/minus...they are the sensitivity changers and I love them too much to change them.

waldo,
Logitech SetPoint should do it. Unless they really don't do anything. That's what I use. Helps with switching all the gun modes in the Attach Choppers quickly

Thumb for VOIP/jump.
Index finger, middle finger and ring finger for WASD/reload/open/enter/comms
Pinky for sprint/crouch/prone.
-I have lots of stuff bound to my mouse(Reload, for instance) but I rarely use them.

VOIP to one, and a precision-changer for the other one, helps a -lot- for tricky long range shots.

I have one set to VOIP and the other to my aimbot toggle.

I have a Logitech G5 so I use the two left side thumb buttons for VOIP. The forward one is for Squad VOIP while the rear most one is for TS.

I must be the only one who has been playing with the arrow keys since forever

No WASD, but the arrows. Right ctrl to jump, Kp0 tu crouch, space to prone, end to enter a vehicle.
On the mouse: reload, zoom view. I wish I had one or 2 more buttons, though.

well... i find that i can still run and shoot and everything with the b button, since i use my left thumb to press it... but that might just be me...
anyways, i have a "inverse y-axis" on my mouse, since when i am a gunner in a chopper, i prefer non inverse mouse movement, but as a pilot, inverse movement is what im used to.

Seriously guys? Am i the only one to use one (the lower thumb one) of those two nifty extra buttons for map? (And parachute for the upper one, but that's a relic from vbf2 though). It's one of the best keybinds ever, never have to take away one hand to view the map, AWSOME!

whow...never thought about that dumb B button ...indeed that makes me severely handicapped on right side strafing while communicating...now i will try to bind it to the upper thumb button of my oldschool mx510....lower thumb button is TS/mumble

That was the first thing i also set it to, TS/VoIP. But it sucks, like when shooting and talking at the same time? Feels like you're pinching your mouse. i promptly set it back to keyboard.
Nearest for primary weapon (3), very effective for switching fire-modes on the go. The other for M-map. Perfect.

First side button on a G5 for fire-rate selection = win.
