Pilot Kit Limitation...

Well, i known this is the wrong forum, but since the 2 others are lock, ill post here. Is it possible to limit the amoung of pilot kit allowed by team ? Like if there is only 2 Choppers a MAX of 3 pilot should be allowed, 4choppers -> 6 Kits etc. That would reduce alot the "pilote whoreship", even if they dont had any gun, you can still seen 10 or + pilots by team on map that dosent had more than 5 chopers. Ok there is the counter part that if alwayz the same people grab back the kit, that dosent allow people to play it, but you can make it like Civilian, if you had kill a whole squad due to you're "fly skill" well, you deserve to wait 5min for an other kit, while the pilot kit that just die, is reallowed instantly when requested.

My theory on this is its just an attempt to code the players that will ultimately fail. People will get pilot kits just because. Maybe you make an awesome CAS squad all set up with spotters etc, and then squad l33ts squad leader gets a pilot kit and goes and sits in the aircraft, refusing to let anyone else in or change squad?.
To that you could say "well its up to the server admins to kick", but then maybe it is in the first place?

It would lead to more TKing.
Instead of just Chopper TKing, we'd have Chopper Kit TKing.

the same could be said for the limitation of the sniper kit.
I think moderate limitation would be the way to go.

no no no if you steal a kit after you tk you die mwuhahahahaaaa
thanks devs

sweet way to end the prob.
i don't know how to fix it but yeah pilot whore is a bit of a prob, especially when a CAS squad is already waiting.

Problem is, there are bad and good pilots. All the noob pilots get a kit and keep messing with the choppers, while all those who actually CAN fly and would like to, can't do so because the kits have run out.

This isn't as big of a deal on PR as it is for vBF2. I really don't feel anything needs changing.

I also dont want the kits limited for the same reason Hudson has stated!
Coming to your idea with longer spawntime for "Fly skills": WHO will say the skill was bad?
For example, if a brilliant pilot starts of from carrier at muttrah docks and flies towards docks/city, gets locked and maneuvers away a second AA has him locked, hemaneuvers again but then he still crashes.... or what if he has a 1 second lag and crashes.... or if another chopper rams him slightly and he crashes then... ? Should he therefore have to wait 2-3 Mins until he can spawn and leave the team that long without a good pilot?

I've brought this up before and I got the same responses. Hudson's point is really the only problem with it, but still I think it's better than having 10 people holding E down on the heli spawn for 15 minutes.
If it can be made so that someone dies (crashes) while in an aircraft (or with a pilot kit) they can't request the kit for a minute longer than the respawn time on the aircraft, it would help keep the shitty pilots from reclaiming the same aircraft and wasteing it constantly.

^ Problem with that is once you get shot down, even if you managed to stay airborne for an hour, the noob still waiting at the helicopter pad will now get the helicopter. He'll roll it over on the pad or get shot down within a minute and now the team will be going forty minutes without their attack helicopter.
