Would be possible to add me sort of a dot or some other indicator on top of the icon of the vehicle you are manning as well as the infantry dot?

I found myself getting lost a lot on both map and the minimap not being able to recognize which dot/vehicle I am since the view directions arrows got removed.

I agree, also the view direction of yourself should be brought back. At least when you are in a vehicle. I used this to know where the front of the attack chopper was when i am flying with Alex6714. Now i need to switch back to the cockpit cam to see it.

Yes, view direction +1, I can understand removing the arrows for everyone else from your perspective.

i agree to an extent. but in real life you can pull a map out of your pack and see where everyone is.
all you need to do is check your map along with your compas and presto you know where you are.
