command/paratroop/recon C130

an UNARMED C130 for example (NOT AN AC130)
could be equipt with a 'command station' or 'commanders seat' that would replace the command bunker (just for specific maps, not every map)

in the seat the commander could operate an onboard infared recon camera
the infared recon (with high zoom capabilities of course) could be used for designating area attacks and giving intel support to squads

this 'command C130' could also have paratroop drop capabilites

this idea would be best suited in possible future partroop night maps (not kashan or quinling) it would be useless if the enemy had aircraft so im thinking insurgency maps
only? but w/e

it doesnt HAVE to be a C130, just an idea (plz dont flame me :mrgreen :)

I dislike this, its really unrealistic and makes no sense. Most ground commanders are at a base leading from teh ground, not 10000 meters up flying around.

How about we throw some fastropes on the blackhawks while we're at it?

Sarcasm doesn't really help here.... I agree, this idea is a bit unrealistic due to the Battlefield 2 engine limits. The maps are pretty small for a C-130 to be flying around.

WE NEED THIS, and make it move slow so it wont be 2 hard to fly in small maps

AC-130 and C-130 are both in there.
