Fire support Land Rovers

Since the british land rovers arent realy good as squad transport, i suggest adding fire support Land rovers which would be armed whit 50.cals equipped whit agocs or other optics and maby mark 19 grenade launchers. they would be excellent in large hilly maps where they would give long range fire support to troops maby assaulting a village. These kind of land rovers in real life are heavily used in Afganistan by the british forces.

Yeah, those aren't Mark 19s, those are H&K GMGs, but I agree, I do want that for Brits :) However, Scoped .50 cals and Mark 19s have been suggested, but I hope this doesn't go unnoticed ;)

they have, well they have at least been talked about in depth in the dev forums :p

scopes on a GMG would be kinda useless thou since you would have to aim so high up above the target you wouldn't be able to see it in the scope :p

With the verdict being they will be included as soon as possible, along with GMGs on Landys and Humvees.... :D

Mastiff > WMIK :(

Jackal > WMIK :(

but if the WMIK is gonna be ingame I would love for it to be completed with a proper GPMG and a better firing arc for it.

Could we get an iron sight for the GPMG even if nothing else is done?

Yea i like this idea, but like rhino said whats the point of having it if you have to aim so high above your target you cant see it.

if possible maby they should add a sort of sight adjustment to the mark19(r also other weapons such as grenade launchers or sniper rifles). if anyone has played joint operations:typhoon rising, u know what i mean =). and for those who dont, this ability kinda lifts or moves the sights lower to adjust for bullet/grenade drop. this might be hardcoded, but just letting u know =)

I'd say the inability to engage targets <50m with the grenade launchers would balance out it's ranged destructive powers quite well.

I could see the Delta Force way(what Rampo is talking about) working. Give the GMG seat several weapons, that is the same waepon model, like teh MGs and deployed ones. One is sighted at 50m, one at 100m ect ect
