yeah, it's a good tactic and a good reason for the armor to keep an eye out + keep moving.

BLAH!!!..it should be removed...ive never been killed by one..but killed with it...made me feel kinda cheap ....now on top of the medic spam..they can take out tanks too OH NOES!!!!...moving the tank and looking out doesn't really work to well on maps like fools road...you can sneak up on those things easy

I think the anti armour stuff is unintentional, generally it doesnt work unless its an abandoned vehicle I find.

yea probably a bad side effect of it being able to destroy assets

I like it. Yesterday me and a mate were with a T72 in North Village on Kashan. US guys had a bunker there so we just wiped them off. Then these guys threw a incendiary on us. We were lucky to make it out alive.
Incendiarys are good, because people need to be careful when in close contact with armor against infantry. Though throwing incendiary is very bugged, it never goes where it should, just like rock. And I don't know is it realistic..

I've been playing tanks quite extensively for 0.85 and I've never seen or heard of this until now.
TBH, if enemy soldiers could get close enough to kill a adequately crewed tank then something's wrong with the tank crew or they've got no situational awareness whatsoever.

I barely managed to take out a Russian tank yesterday on Koz with one...but it had already been hit by a Spandrel in my squad. 3 easy kills :>

Well, if they get close enough to chuck an incendiary on you...you kind of deserve to burn

Wide open expanses with little cover promote a false sense of security; you feel that you'll spot the enemy, even though you're not looking.

It kinda amuses me that C4 got pulled because it was being used (ineffectively!) as anti-armour and the forum was FILLED with people crying about realism, and how tanks wouldn't get blown up by C4 in real life, and now a firework can apparently kill one and it results in a bit of a shrug...

I'm well aware of what thermite can do, thank-you. They play around with it all the time on the "science" show Brainiac. I was using the term for comic effect; and really, does that video give you ANY confidence that could kill a tank?

probably not unless it's places above the engine or something, but i know it can burn through massive chunks of steel if you have enough of it. i dunno how far those grenades dig.

Indeed, and my argument for C4 being really dangerous against tanks was that if placed correctly, you could prolly blow out some key linkages, etc and disable the tank. My point's just that the reactions were so different. I guess it's because a lot of the maps are now less dominated by armour that people are shrugging more.

Wouldnt thermite burn through a tank, or at least an apc ? I guess the cheramic components would stop termite, but if the armor has none, I can see thermite burning straight through it.

I'd rather have the grenades work like they do then not have them. One shouldn't take out a tank, two shouldn't either. But I THINK they don't stick to vehicles, not sure. Deal with it now. Tanks shouldn't be in situations where enemy infantry got that close anyway.

don't know what affect it does to armor, but i guess it's pretty bad. On a round today, a BRDM got stuck in the trenches. I was medic only thing I could do was smoke it and but an incendary under it. Don't know if the crew is stupid or was getting damaged but they ran out and died :\
