No chance brother, Project reality isn't massively demanding but it needs more that 512mb to run. Best you can do is upgrade, or you not going to be able to run anything in the way of games.

I used to play on 512. As long as you have the lowest possible settings, on the older maps, I was able to.

These days, you can get a gig of RAM for about as much as a cup of coffee from Starbucks.

From the way you word it your asking why you are able to. As in you -can- play them now?

If thats the case I'd have to say its highly possible your video card is at least a 512mb. I used to run BF2 and PR on a system with half a gig of ram and an ATI card with 512 ram. (An X600.) Otherwise I can't really explain why you would beable to play with just that ram without more info on your system.

If your asking -can- you play with 512 ram? Then I'd say its possible if everything is on low and you avoid big maps that are extremely ram intensive. Maps like Kovalzk, Korengal, or Ramiel being big ones.

However ram is very cheap and a great upgrade to your computer. 20 bucks will get you 2 gigs of ram.

Buy more RAM. All modern video games require at least 1 GB to run well.
