Vehicle Damage/Recovery

I already raised the subject on the discussions page with a fair amount of support. I would like to see the total health of all armoured vehicles raise but still allowing for the vehicle to be crippled (turret or tracks) where it normally would and if its possible to allow for both to be crippled so the vehicle has to be recovered with a Logistics Truck and protection team.

To balance this you could increase the penalty for loosing a vehicle asset (double the ticket loss and/or increase spawn time slightly for example).

I feel this would add to the realism and would further encourage players to look after the vehicle assets and not to abandon them.

This is a resuggestion mate, check the already suggested suggestions thread and use the search function before making new ones, the moderators like to keep things clean and free from reiterating the same discussions etc all the time.

The older thread for this isn't that old, if you find it you can have a quick read through what was said about it, I can't really remember now, I was very much for it personally.

There is a good chance that it was me, but in the discusions forum. I did my homework before posting there.

Ner it was a good couple of months ago I think, we talked about having more health on vehicles, but bumping up the damage effect so they're still as easily destroyed by AT/AA/whatever and stuff, and then keeping the disabled effects at the same level. So they would be disabled at the same point, but could sustain more damage when they were immobile to facilitate recovery.

I think what would help with the recovery of vehicles is if there was a smaller repair crate deployable in the vicinity of the larger one with a very limited amount of "ammo" that could only be requested once in a while. That'd help with vehicles that are inaccessible to supply trucks etc be repaired just enough to be mobile and get to a proper repair station.

By the way, are the mobile repair stations visible on the map? I've never really paid much attention to them cos I'm still yet to use them personally and I've not ran that much armour since .85 still.
