[HELP] Random Damage in Vehicles

Here we go again ><
I noticed something today while testing
Anytime i get into a vehicle and start driving, i automatically start receiving damage.
I cant figure out what could be causing this. Anyone have any ideas?
Its happens in all vehicles besides aircraft.

Please explain in better detail, is this your own mod you are working on? you sure it's not due to kit limitation?
Though it sounds like you've got a buggy collision mesh or bad export. (nothing to do with texture)

add a material onto your textures then re-save your complied terrain and your ground properties.
if you dont set your ground with any materials then vehicles will take damage when they are in contact with the default mat.

ok so i need to add a material to the ground.
also when i moved the map from the pr_edit mod to the real pr mod
it ctd at texture loading?
what causes this?

run the map in windowed mode and you will find out what texture is missing... its probably something like you putting a object in that is not meant to be used, the editor can handle a object with no texture but the game can not.

ok but for the materials problem, i don't see whats wrong since im auditing a map.
Shouldn't the materials already be assigned?
can u help me fix this?

ok so i ran the debug and it came up with
Active geom template: antenna_destroyable
Text: Object antenna_destroyable has texture coordinates outside specific range [16,16]. Largest coors was 257.102/164.019
so it looks like this object is in the list of Not working properly....
lets see what it does when i remove it ^^

that depends if you touched the terrain at all, if you did and you saved the changes, then you have probaly messed up a load of stuff including the map's terrain materials.
and that's not the problem, are you running the debugger or just normal in window mode since you should only see that error in the debugger but it means nothing.

well i dont think i did.
what would i have to replace and re-compile ? just the terraindata and con files?

Take out that object and try.

Ok so the materials problem is fixed. No more damage.
But another problem still persists.
The map is compiled and packed into zips.
I used the pr_edit copy to work on my map. I can load the map fine with no errors if i run it in the pr_edit folder.
If i move the map over to the original pr folder and try to run it, it starts giving me all these errors. Like Object errors , colormap errors, lightmap errors... i dont understand why it would be doing this if its an exact copy of the original pr mod im running it from.
Any ideas?
Oh one thing, in the pr_edit/levels i have the map unpacked in its folder. would this be why its loading with no problems?

i had this issue is was caused by me placeing the spwning object on th ground. as you drove them it would take massive amounts of terrain damage. the way this was fixed is to have the objects just off the ground so when they spwn in they only drop a very short distance to the ground and the issue is fixed.
