I have a problem running PR

I get this error after a few minutes playing:

Memory.dll: all alloc attempts failed for size 553020

I have an E8600, 4gb ddr 800mhz and vista ultimate 64bit

I did modified my bf2.exe and I was getting kicked by punkbuster.... With this one I have no problem whatsoever

Backup your original bf2.exe though!

hey i had that problem its....... guess what?

not enough ram !

probably you have problem with wrong setup of pagefile

try TweakHound's Super XP Tweaking Guide - The Page File

try defult setings ,off , or lower yours bf seting, you should also have minimum 5 gb free on C:\

Try setting textures to medium.

I repalced my bf2.ex by the modded one, the memory error is gone so thanx! But after 30minutes playing i still get disconnected. my ping is 31 and everything looks normal.

my rig:

Asus Maximus formulla II
4Gb buffalo firesticks 800mhz ddr2
xfx hd4870 xxx 512mb
2x wd 150gb velocityraptor raid0
MS Vista Ultimate 64bit sp1

You say you're disconnected... What happens exactly? CTD, kick by punkbuster, connection lost?

no anouncement off the kick.

But my problem is solved, i installed 4sims of 2gb kingston Hyper X and now i can play it as long as i want.

8gb doesnt help the preformance, but its better than 4gb buffalo firesticks.

Its zhe ram. If you have 1 gig and virtual off it can happen, shouldnt though with 2 gigs and above, Iam running XP though, maybe it does happen with the new resource molesting OS.

Since patch 1.5 there is no need for this anymore - this solution is deprecated.
What you might want to check is if you have enough RAM available and maybe boost your page file.
