hey, i've noticed that when i'm in a decent squad with VOIP and we're all working together, Project Reality is a great game and i love it! But then sometimes i'll come on and i'll join a squad and there will b no communication at all this seems to make the game not as enjoyable and annoys me as the game is not reaching its potential. If anyone else has played PR with someone else in the sme room as them u will appreciate how much communication actually helps and that a lot of the time u'll end up at the top of the board. So does anyone have any suggestions on servers that have a lot of teamwork and communication? and also just post anything that u want, about agreeing or disagreeing with me!

We need to nerf the ability to talk to other squad members as it clearly gives and edge to other squads.
There will be no speaking in my squads!

cool thanks, yer just been on TG and like i said we used VOIP and we were the best squad and i ended up as 2nd on the squad. it was just a prime example of the wonders of communication

As has been said, many a time, this game is all about communication & teamwork,... If you want to win that is. Just wait and see if mumble can be fully integrated into PR, then all your hardcoded VOIP problems will be over and you can listen to the other squads, sometimes not using their mic's.

TCombat has suddenly come under my radar as a SUPERB server for Teamwork.

Press Alt + F4 to deploy the fastropes.

It is the most annoying thing to make a squad labeled VOIP and have people without mics join it. Then you have to go through the laborious process of finding out who has a mic and who doesn't, then kicking those who don't for people who do.

yer i've noticed sometimes i join an ENG VOIP squad only to find that none of them are actually talking...is it just me or is that just idiotic?

I would say so, but I fear being raped by an admin for an "inflammatory" post.

You could say "I disagree" or "I have different experiences" for example, and noone will complain...

Overall the teamwork on servers has dropped dramaticly since .85. Alot of lone wolfes seems to appear recently...

Eh, it was a joke more than anything heh.

But yes, TC is an awesome server.

Shame that it's too late for me to play on TC with all the good teamplayers now, back in school :/

lol so sounds as tho TC is the server that most of u guys like, i'll take a look when i can

Check it out on the weekends, Friday and Saturday nights are normally good nights But don't forget T&T or iGi, good servers too

What happens quite frequently with squads that are named 'VOIP' etc., is that the person who formed the squad has since left the game and the de facto new squad leader is oblivious to the fact that his squad even has a name, so there would be no enforcement of the squad title suggestion.
