does deployable repair depot need special treatment? Or is it bugged?

Deploying the repair depot with x from logistic truck brings it out. Then i drive my vehicles over to it, and get no ammo, no repair.

Basically its just there to look pretty?

lol, im serious, it has never worked for me. What gives? Or am i using it wrong?

They don't give ammo, and only repair you if you're hurt. They work, and have worked every time for me. Though sometimes a vehicle is so hurt that it can't repair as fast as it dies.

The ammo i can understand.

But it has never repaired a thing for me, maybe i was very unlucky. Il try some other time.

While were on topic of ammo....

Is there any way to reload the ammo on the static machine guns in the outpost of kongreal valley?

Maybe you didn't see the repair icon appear inside the vehicle while repairing.

And no, there is no way to reload stationary weapons.

Just today while pubbing with my PRT mates we were running Strykers around EJOD and mine took a hell of a beating from a BTR-60. The steering was so borked that I couldn't drive in a straight line except when I reversed. So I reveresed halfway accross the Western desert to meet a Logistics truck. He dropped the repair static and I hopped out.

I remember someone's words "your entire right side is wasted". It was, it was so bad that the vehicle leaned to the right. About 5 minutes later the vehicle popped up into the air as the suspension was restored.

It works. :)

Remember, it only popped up once someone got back into the drivers seat.

I'm not sure if the vehicles repair without a driver...

Think the repair stations a great deployable, no more having to use a spanner on an armour. Would be nice for minor ammo as theres an ammo box.

Who was driving it then? Cause I was the driver and I stood outside the entire time it was repairing. Maybe Zero hopped back in the APC before me but I'm pretty sure nobody was driving it.

Maybe he was always in the turret... can't recall.

Either way... was fun round mate. ;-)

Yeah, 'twas a good round. Your probably right but yeah, it was Zero that jumped in the drivers seat for a moment, then it popped back up. I guess it can repair without someone in the drivers seat though.

What is X is the default keys by the way? I'm not gonna get into what my keys are cos literally none are the same, but I don't know how to get that sodding repair station out, oh and is it limited to 1 per supply truck or 1 per team? Can't remember at all, I take it in either case it's the most recent one that stays.

Yes it does, you just need to hop out and in as driver sometimes to get the repair icon to show.

Two trucks per team with exception of four on armor maps (Kashan and Qinling), the repair depot is limited to one per truck and disappears if another is deployed from the same truck otherwise it dies after 5 minutes.

X is the default key for pop smoke, 1 can be deployed from any truck. If you have two trucks, that means 2 can be deployed. Each time you drop a new one, the old one disappears.

Cool, still barely done any SLing/logistics since .85 so not quite sure how it all worked.
does the commander have a marker for repair stations? Or do they come up on the map anyway? Or is there no marker at all for them yet?

There's no real marker for it, and they don't show up on the map. Your best bet is if you are in a damaged vehicle, is to head straight for the nearest supply truck.

Plan ahead for things like tanks and APC - keep at least 1 Logistic truck
near by to get repairs.Another reason to not have a locked 2 man APC/Tank squad,
instead with 4-5 you can build Fob's and have constant infantry and repair support.
Of course if you pubbung some people would spawn in on your FOB and try to
take off on Log. truck (keep the driver in )

The repair works by deploying 1 "Repair Depot Crate" per 1 Logistic Truck (X default) ( as many times as you want but only 1 at a time).
