Was in a tank few days ago in the same squad as my driver and all was good. I left the squad and joined back right away. Still the game spammed that I had to be in the same squad as my driver, yet I was. I wanted to see if the game would really punish me for this, and yes it killed me.

Not a major bug I guess, but still.

I have had this happen as well.

A quick seat jump solved it though.

You used to be able to leave the squad and rejoin right away to get the turret to warm up real fast.

This was added to prevent this. Just jump out and jump back in.

This is a great fix to the instant turret fix too gj

Maybe he just wanted to cycle squad lead?

Did that several times. never got me killed.

Happened to me in Attack Helo, when I wanted to give SL to someone else!
Luckily I was gunner, so the pilot just had to return to the carrier. Still annoying though!

Or worse, with me, I dropped out of the SL's spot, but the new SL couldn't unlock the squad fast enough, and I died, in the pilot's attack helo seat

But, thankfully, I had just made it to the Muttrah beach, so the helo glided down in a spit of luck to the only landable area, beween the cliffs and the sea

Funny story.
