Titan style gameplay on the USMC Carrier

This game is great, but I feel that it does lack one thing in particular - CQB.
CQB would test players reactions, planning and teamplay skills and yet is something I have yet to see in the mod, despite the capability for it.

On Muttrah City the MEC's final flag (which the USMC never get to) is the MEC fortress, anyone who has been around the flag will know how tough it would be to capture and the potential it has for some great firefights, however it is the one flag that I have never seen get taken or get close to being taken (there are too many flags before it).
You could probably make a whole map/gameplay mode which involves raiding such a place?!

Next is the USMC carrier, now i don't know how hard it would be to code the USMC blowing up, or to code in a new USMC but again it has some potential. Make it so there are a few more corridors, have it has the final flag for the USMC or have a whole map dedicated to the destruction of the ship. It could turn out like the titan gameplay where the people on the ship would rigg it up with traps or just spam grenades, but im sure you could find a way around that.

One last thing, ever thought about vehicle radios like in BF:V?

Just something you could look at. :!:

Radios

The fact that you never saw MEC fortress being taken,is because:
1:USMC team lacks teamwork
2:The MEC team are good players and know what theyre doing
3:Both from the above

And about carrier:Yeah i would like to see something similar like in BF2:SF where there is a carrier with many rooms and corridors. That would be awesome

The Carrier cannot be modified, apart from textures, It's an EA model.

IIRC, the carrier from Iron Gator cannot be used either. :(

Wait for 'Objective Mode' to come to PR, that may have the kind of gameplay you're after.

The vietnam radios you're on about, I guess you mean the music that you can play. This has been suggested many times and is already in game... If you're heard the radio that the insurgents have. :p

IIRC, BF2 cannot handle the 2142 awesomeness of titanesque movement.

Think of the technical aspect. You've got full combat going on inside while carrying vehicles on top all while the thing moves. BF2 can't do that from all I've seen and heard.

But everyone vibrates inside when it moves (unless 1.5 fixed that, I stopped playing by then)

It was fun though, I remember being told off because I was massacaring the PAC trying to get in to corridor 1, and from their perspective I was shooting through a bulkhead.

Haven't noticed any jittering lately, though bodies still fall through the floor, and they still haven't fixed the damn turret bug.

Seems more of a Special Forces/Marine Commando job to me.

Well, On Muttrah City it shouldn't be that hard to get into the Fortress in 3(or 4) hours :-\ Just have good teamwork.

Although, I like the request, But I dont think the carrier can be coded to go boom :P
