Fire in the hole! - Grenades down a tanks hatch

I searched, can't find so here is what I would like to see. There has been a few occasions, infact alot of occasions where I have found my squad caught out by a tank, as no1 has an AT kit you are forced to hide for 5 mins until the tank rolls past. I dont mind doing this, however recently I have decided to try something new: Wait for tank to stop, jump up onto turret undetected and then see what I can do.

First few times I did this I decided to get a grenade and throw it down the OPEN hatch, result - grenade bounces back up at me and injures me (badly) tank realises what is happening and shoots me.

Im sure many of you have been in a situation where the only explosive you have is a grenade and you wish you had AT, as the tank comes closer towards your face. The nearest supply crate is 500m away and you are 100 m from the flag. What can you do apart from run and hide?

My suggestion is that if someone successfully gets onto the tanks roof, they can then throw a grenade down the hatch and kill all crew members inside, the grenade doesn't have to destroy the tank. Simply taking out the crew would do. I remember something similar with grenades in APC gun holes on BF:V or 1942?! It would be a great reward for any infantry able to do this, as well as a great performance to watch!
All the tank would have to do to avoid this, is never stop moving for more than a few seconds.

So, give the tanks the option to open and close their hatches to aviod this.... Otherwise it would be silly that every tank crew could be taken out in such a way.

To do so, all of the tanks would need to be custom PR models and then the British Challenger 2 would have to be partly re-done.

Suggested before, this was only done in ww2 and verry dangerous.
So not realistic.

maybe also hardcoded?

and what about the gunner(the machinegun not cannon gunner) he can stop you from throwing the grenade

In real life, in a combat zone, tanks would button up, creating a lack of said open hatch to throw your grenade into. Since the BF2 engine cannot handle buttoning up and unbuttoning in a way that the .50 cal gunner on the roof takes cover inside the tank, this will never happen. In any event:

Resuggestion,

You can throw a nade into a humvee or in the back of a truck,so that should be possible, the opening of hatches is possible think like bf42 higgins(with arrow keys)

But it is prolly hardcoded for a players to actually manage to get upon a tank during combat and throw a nade inside(and anyone with more then 1 braincell would close the hatch anyway)

Remodel us all tanks in PR with an actual interior inside them and maybe it will be possible. But for now I doubt throwing a grenade into a hatch which has a mesh ending at 40cm depth is rather possible.
