Okay, back in .7 medic's could heal themselves by aiming down with the medic bag. But now if I try to do that, I bleed out. So is there any way (other than field dressings) for a medic to heal himself/herself?

Go prone and look up or stand up and look down. Both of those still heal you with the medic bag. Sometimes the + does not show up though. But just keep holding the button and it will heal you.

-And sometimes it just doesn't work. If you can't see the + and you still bleed then just throw a bandage on the ground and try again.

though imo, removing self healing, unless with field dressings would be a good thing in PR.

If medics kits are to be limited (as the rumours seem to point towards) I'd say that it'd be very important that they do keep the ability to self heal.
