Hey guys im sure this has been brought up before i just cant find the post, in either .8 or .75 i forgot which one when Ramiel was release it had a LB trans as well as the BH and Attk LB, i was wondering why you guys took this out and was hoping it could be put back in, this map is simply too big for only one trans and in alot of cases its to hard to land the BH in the city because of space in streets, and alot of times its really hard to even get the BH to come give you aid because it is already helping out another squad.
Personally i think this map is way to big to only have 2 helo's, and i would love to see the LB trans put back in, to balance it out take out 1 apc and or 1 apc and 1 Humvee or even 2 apc's (if theres three i forgot how many there are). It would actually most likely fix the ticket problem (only if you have smart pilot's i guess) when pubing too because it seems like in any pub server Ramiel lasts like only 35-50 min because of lost vehicles which destroy your ticket ratio and even though alot of this has to do with loosing the heli's i still think its easier to get blown up in a apc or and land vehicle for that matter.
If you guys do plan on putting in the LB trans again for the love of god please dont take out the Attk LB because id rather have that in the map, i really love that helo.

A Blackhawk is decent enough for most players...
Although, Tran Littlebird would be nice >

I mean i want to keep the BH too, just add the LB trans, like in the previous version of pr. It just sucks when the BH goes down and there isnt another trans chopper, or if its being busy and cant get to you (seems to be happening often to me as a SQ leader in Ramiel), it was perfect before with the two trans and 1 attk.

Adding more choppers would mean more tickets lost tbh, much harder to kill a Humvee/striker than a littebird

Kind of going off topic but staying with it at the same time, on maps like kashan desert is it possible to add a few more Land transports like the flat bed troop transports. Was playing the other day and there werent any transport available for us so we had to wait like 5 minutes for a helicopter to come back, it was taking too long to get into the fight, also as kashan is such a huge map there needs to be more transport.

I am for adding more choppa's. It would give me more opportunity to see guys falling from them as I open up my technical on them!

I find usually the folks asking for more helos/jets are usually the ones that only want to fly said helos and jets.
I find that the current situation with Ramiel is more than adequate since it focuses more on the ground combat and less on fancy inserts into the city.

depends whos the crewman or pilot, seems like every time i get in a apc or hummer 30 seconds to a minute later boom.....awww sorry guys i didnt see that IED. '
I stay alive alot longer as a pilot then i would as a crewman in the apc.
Blakeman u know ramiel was mapped after Black Hawk Down right, or at least thats where the idea came from, and the only reason i want a LB trans is because the BH can be, for use of a better word, a bulky idiot (only sometimes but its a huge cost), i thought the LB trans and BH and Attk LB was perfect in .8 or .75 i forgot which one this map came out. Used to have it set up where you create a LB inf squad and always be with them, i remember there were times when we took out like 7 caches, just because of this quick transport.

Well, This map is more like Blackhawk down... Because of the city environment mixed with the country sides make it alot easier to have just a ground fight instead...

you dont have to rub it in...haha. I know it is amazing for INF, and i prolly wouldnt even be using the helo's that much unless we really needed a decent pilot, i love being a SL. I just felt like it was a better map with one more helo. I guess it made more of a difference with a SF sq though (when the kit was still in the game in .

, but never-the-less i still would love to see the LB trans back. Any dev or moderator want to edit my post into a poll to see what the verdict is here?

Alot of the time we've asked they were either supporting or squad or transporting on the other side of the map. Also what i mean is APCs you need a crew man kit why cant there be more non crewman kit needed vehicles on alot of maps. Another thing is most the time i play kashan there aren't any actual APCs they are the 2 crew man and 2 extra seat ones.

Aircraft actually played a huge part in that 1993 Mogadishu incident.
LBs were also equipped with 2.75 rockets that day as said by someone who was there (I can´t remember exactly, but I thin an LB pilot) "for crowd control if anything".
I would go as far to say over half the kills made that day was by helis, the thing is, you just don´t see it in the film.

Replace AH-6 with AH-64D please.
