Would just like to point out that PRMM, in comparison with Red Orchestra, has a long way to go on the reality matter. In Red Orchestra one shot is one kill with most of the weapons and people play in a more realistic way. I hope that one shot one kill will become implemented in PRMM in addition with gun sway for example.

When is the 0.3 release out?

maybe because one shot one kill isn't realistic in modern warfare?

Gun sway though is a must.

Well one shot, in most cases, make you unable to continue fighting.

Body armour.

Plus with adrealine pumping there has been many instances in WW1 charging the trenches for example they took many rifle bullets to the torso and kept on coming for minutes before dying. Plus the chances of getting a killing shot on someone is very unlikey with one shot thanks to body armour protecting the main organs. Kinda unrelated but intreasing the .45ACP was orginally developed to fight the Moro people in the Phillipnes because they took drugs and had religous ceremonies before fighting that made them into essentialy supermen and their current bullets weren;t powerful enough to stop them. The main point of bullets is not to kill the person but to knock them down and then hope they die so they don;t kill you in my opioion anyway i'm sure one of the mil-advisors will correct me on this.

I've had friends shot who still kept fighting. I've had shrapnel hit me and I still kept fighting. It's not impossible.

And if a round doesn't hit a VITAL organ or the spine, your not gonna immediately go down. Well, even that depends I guess. Some people will, some people won't. Shooting someone doesn't mean instantaneous death.

The fact is that a the Present Us armour can take 3 7.62mm and a fair bit of shrapnel!

One shot one kill should only apply to sniper shots in the head or torso. Sniper rounds are supposed to penetrate standard body armor and even helmets.

The .45 auto was a result of a competition held for a new sidearm for the US Millitary. While it is true that the Moro tribesmen did go into combat hopped up on "drugs" and it is also true that the standard .38 cal revolver of the Navy did little to slow them down before they could get into spear thrust range, this was not a common problem. The Army still issued .45 cal "Long Colt" fed 1873 Army revolvers made by Colt as well as Colt's .45 cal "Long Colt" Double Action Revolver of 1878. "Long Colt" was NOT the common name for that round until after the .45 auto came out. But please note that the .38 was the issue side arm of the Navy Dept. .45s have been in Army use for quite some time and are still being used by special units.

No problem. I just recently finished reading about this in a nice coffee table book my wife got me for Christmas. Nothing too indepth, but enough for conversation.

I do agree with you on the .45 autos though. I came through just prior to the switch over to the Baretta 92G 9mm. When I shot my quals, I used a .45. That is why I have three of my own. Colt Combat Commander 1991A1, Vintage WW II Colt (made by Remington) 1911A1 and a nice new Para Ordinance 14/45 LDA. What can I say? I fell in LOVE with John M. Browning's most celebrated and copied design EVER.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight...where did you get that one from? If I took one round i'd dump that thing. It's pretty much useless after one hit.

The kevlar won't stop the 7.62 alone, and the ceramic plate is already shattered to pieces.

My Friend, nice doesn't even come close. 13 rounds in the mag and one in the pipe. Single action trigger pull on a double action pistol EVERY SHOT. It is by far my most favorite to shoot. Beefy, but not boxy like a GLOCK. Smoothe as glass action and Novak style low profile sights. I have got to hand it to the Canadians on that one. They made a superb pistol.

I'm going to have to get a pistol licence when i get my american citizenship.

You know you can buy unregistered firearms from private vendors in certain states. But if you are talking about a concealed-carry license, then you have to have that but you can't bring it outside your home if you don't have that license, it also doesn't always have to be registered, only if you buy from a government regulated store.

I always buy from an appropriate vendor, or someone I know.

I can't help but feel i'm adding to crime by buying from someone I don't know. Like i'm helping them in their business, if they happen to be selling to people they aren't supposed to. But that's just me and how I feel.

Yeah whats the point of having a pistol for self defence if you just keep it in your house. Plus buying from a unregisterd seller just smacks of being illeagal. So I will almost defiently get a CCW licence. Plus Michigan just made it really easy to get one althogugh most people in Detroit don;t bother with one.

In seattle all you have to do is pay 60 bucks, get fingerprinted and go through a background check for your CCW. It took me FOREVER to finally get that thing though. I think like 2 months and I got it in the mail finally.

The body armour protects against grenades, not bullets.
