Hey, I'm not quite sure if this is a hack/serverside error, or whatnot.

I was playing on the HOG server just now, and I kept 'teamkilling', and being punished, my score didnt go down, and I didnt actually team kill anyone (I was driving an APC :s)

I eventually got banned, what is up with this? And has it happened before?

hmm, i remember that used to happen to me in BF2. umm, Did is say like
"Noobofthenight (or w/e) [Teamkill]" with no other name after "[Teamkill]" Because that would me that its a bug in Retail BF2. Then again, did an admin ban you are was it an autoban? cuz i just ignored it and played on.

It said I teamkilled people, and that they punished me, but there was no way I could have teamkilled people.

Tis quite confusing!

Ooh! I had this problem a few weeks back.

I was sitting on a static AA on Mutrah City, and a full huey showed up so I popped two rockets into it (I was on MEC btw), and bang! The top left of the screen was full of text saying I tk'd 4 guys, and opening the console showed there was another two. I checked the names and they were players from the other team, so it is some sort of bug.

Oh I didn't get punished though, and none of my squad mates could see the tk's.

It's happened to me yesterday, I kill a CMO (I was in the US, Mutrah City), checked if it was a teamkill, but it wasn't. I've got punished after ~10 seconds ...
