i dont know if we have allready that treath but what you say about one big ,huge, hardcore competition North America VS Europe ( players from N.America VS players from Europe)
one day ,5 maps,popular server

Well...that means pure win for the one or the other side...depends where the server is located cuz the american players pings suck on europe-server ans so does eupean players ping suck on american servers.

So one team will lose cause of lag and just beeing inable to hit the target even if it shows you hit...

not a good idea if you ask me...

Just put the server in Iceland. That way everybody's ping will suck.

na, we put the server on a fishing boat, sail it out to the middle of the ocean, then we fish up one of thous cables, and plug the server into it, problem solved!

Well, some rounds at server located in US and some located in EU, quite simple.
Ping IMHO is not even an issue as we allready have to wait 2sec to make steady shots

I will never understand the fight on every forum North American vs Europe's You do understand your both humans right?

How about handy caps vs none handy caps because I know hand caps will win.

Oh and BTW to you guy's creaming Allah! as you run into my bullets the 72 Virginia's are all Si-Fi Star War fans boy's that died Virgina's so try not to say F**k you SLUMA when you see them all at the gate's of hell

When Sammy L. Jackson gets his way and we all have "the mother of all broadband" then it won't be an issue...

This would be nice, but the timezones might be problem..It would be in the middle of the day for US players or very late night for us Europeans. :/

That's why I quit the PRT, Saturday night isn't really ideal for people in bands that also enjoy the warmth of the Great British Pub

no no, no cata ,no nato, no clans, only players from Europe Vs N.America players
may be 2 games will be played in Europe other 2 in N.America but the most important THE LAST realy iceland is good location

Sounds like you needed two just to beat one And TG has both European and NA members, so that isn't exactly what I would call "already done before"

Easiest way to do this would be to get an Clan where most are Americans and a clan based in Europe, but that turns out to be usually Germany vs America or England Vs norwegia, though I guess in english clans some of the scandinavian countries get sucked in.

That EU V USA match was ages ago now, i'm having trouble even remembering what PR version it was on xD

Get a server in Greenland. Iceland is closer to Europe. I'd love to do something like this but unless someone on here has a server in Greenland we would have problems with ping.
