Hey, this thread is based on Bots, silly or dumb or just cruel things they did in you gameplay experience.

(you may add to this list if you think is neccassary)
The different types of bots:

"Bird watchers" Some of the dumbest bot that do nothing, but look into the sky with the cloudiest thoughts... dreaming and walking torwards the enemy. These type of bots will follow orders, but you don't want them to. For they will go to whatever location and then blowup by another enemy... Bot expression:

"Chargers" Considered the most short lived bots are the Chargers, they will charge the enemy head on and crouch around in there midst not shooting anything until they are about 20 or less feet from there target. Chargers usually do not obey orders there most heart desire is to either knife their enemy or shoot their enemy both at am extremely close range, Because of this being their most utter desire they will ignore you orders and just use their powerful bot powers to locate the nearest enemies and then go straight for the kill... or death... Bot expression:

"AimBot" Aimbots are considered the best bots that you want on your team, for they are totally dedicated to the death of the enemy, which also results in one promblem... you will never get teamwork from aimbots, because they are all for killing the enemy with one quick immediate shot to the head... Aimbots have supernatual powers, such as locating the enemy, "guessing" were there guns bullet is gonna go, and sniping with pistols. Aimbots are known not to obey your orders that well... but occasionally they will acknowledge what you say... Bot expression:

"Strategic Bots" These bots are the ones that will stay from medium/long distance from there enemy, they will give about 3 bullets every 5 seconds from a semi auto weapon. This type of bot is also considered a helpful bot because of there teamwork. Strategic bots are usually fit to be commanders or squad soldiers, because they have an amazing way as a bot to obey your orders. Bot expression:

"Vehicle Bot" This type of bot is deadly to teamates by running them over, usualy you. Another specific about vehicle bots is that they will mess you up in any way they can including a common irratation getting into cars and tanks before you do. The vehicle bot has a very particular personality equivalent to a teenager, loves speed on cars, crashes, "geographicaly challenged, and just loves watching you splatter all over their windshield. The Vehicle bot being equivalent to the modern teenager has no desire at all to obey your orders, but when threaten to, they will most likely attempt to run you over... Bot expression:

"Crazed bot" The type of bot that whenever wounded or pinned down will twirl around with either anger or....Pain? or clear out stupidity! Also related to the vehicle bot, because this species is geographically challenged as well. Bot exprssion:

Please add to this list of Bot types so I can get a full list of the BOT species.

I feel that this thread might be copying another thread... if so than if a forum moderator would be so kind to lock it.

The bot that exists for nothing but to run you over.

The bot that commandeers a vehicle full of other bots to drive it to combat via the longest and/or most dangerous route. Or even worse, nowhere at all.

The bot that shoots at you even though he cannot possably see you (through vegitation or fog of war)

the bot that will jump in the vehicle that you are manning the gun for and drive away just as the enemy comes into sight, making your shots worthless

the bot that glitches into a corner and looks really sad and lonely while he spins at 400 mph

Poor guys yall must despise your ally bots...

The charging bot is a result of the optimal range code in the weapons AI. The bot will charge at whatever it is attacking until it reaches optimal range. It may shoot on the way however.

haahahhaa thats hilarious, I understand your anger.

The bot pilots on Jabal that have a bad habit of flying their hueys into each other over the dam.

The bot pilots on Ramiel that hover over flags in the blackhawk until all the insurgent bots shoot them down with super accurate small arms fire.

I've never been shot down in a helicopter by small arms fire alone in MP.

Korengal Valley sucks for sp. All the cover is useless, it sucks ***.

Some of these problems are funny and some of these problems are just inaccurate.

Korengal is one of my favorite places to play in PRSP!
Some of the most intense and best rounds I've played were here, but it's mainly personal preference, I suppose.


Then there's always the bot that walks right in front of you while you lay down covering fire, giving you an unintentional TK

...? I don't understand the connection between my explanation of AI bot behavior and your response.

the part of you comment that i was responding to was.
When you said that bots will charge you and engage normally at an optimal range.

This is really map specific, and Korengal valley is a good example of this. They will attack you normally before you can see them due to heavy foliage.

blame it on the Ohio bars who serve alcohol on sundays.

i like fallujah_west in sp, because there the bots are actually pretty fair, its a nice gameplay and the bots can't hide where you can't find them

May i add a bit to yours, The stupid APC bots that drive apc off hill, flip it, and continue trying to drive for over 30 min while not going anywhere, then you wonder where all your apcs are ...Also blow a bridge that bots use to cross in vehicles often, end result is priceless, they keep on driving down the hole over and over. (Bots like to flip them on Mestia i think its called, on the team the spawns right on bridge, havent played the map enough to know which team is where.)
