Hey everyone, I used to play PR back in 0.6 and 0.7, had some great times, started playing some other games and kinda went away for a while.

Never was really active on the forums, but if anybody remembers me from the game, let me know, I might remember you!

Going to start playing 0.8 once I get out of temporary living, my BF2 discs are in storage



Can't wait to get back to playing, I still remember some great stories on Basrah.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a nice clan and get back into things.

The only thing that I've seen since I stopped playing was the suppression fire and some new maps.

Oh, and who could forget the JDAMs.

What else is there that has changed the game dramatically?

Heh, well the least you could do is fill me in on what's changed.

Looked at the new supply line system, and I really like what's changed in that area. However, each of these "teamwork changes" makes it harder and harder just to get with a group of guys and play correctly. Hopefully I'll find a good clan or something so that I'm not stuck with some noobs in the merlin or nobody resupplying me with the truck.

I know what Mumble is, and it looks pretty awesome (some guys from my COD4 clan use it for CAL), but what is TCombat? A server?

Also, I thought Mumble was just a VOIP program with that "position-sensitive" stuff. How do you know if there is a lot of people on Mumble on a server?

I guess I'll look into it a little more and see all of its features.

Ah so certain servers have channels in the Project Reality mumble server, got it.

I see TacticalGamer is still up and running, that's good.

If you want people to "fill you in on what has changed," it won't happen. Sooooooooooooooooooo much has changed, no human can possibly list enough changes to express how much has changed without simply posting the .756 changelog, the .809 changelog, and the .856 changelog.


Those changelogs combined are like at least 20 pages worth of material.


Oh, and fastropes are still impossible.
