How about them?
There is no winter maps .... i wonder how it'll look like? )

I believe the Devs discussed this in another thread before. Basically, they said that it wouldn't be worth it to retexture everything (vehicle and player models) just for the sake of a new map or two. I also believe something was said about the lack of good snow textures for the map itself and that snowy trees look really bad?

It wopuld require alot of texture, but it doesnt meens that Winter Maps will be not in PR

This i would like to see but have it Finland vs Russia and see if one sniper can emerge as god again.

textures is only scratching the surface, there is soo much more required to make snow maps, textures being the obvious thing as they are the thing you see being different, but under that you need new materials and thous new materials need new sounds for when your walking on snow, driving on snow, etc and the materials also need new effects for when your shooting snow etc. Then on top of that you really need to make a bunch of new statics and make variations of the current statics to make them look like they have snow on them etc. Then you can think about reskinning, and on that, your talking overgrowth, statics, terrain textures, road textures etc...

to put it simply, you would need to dedicated quite a few team members from many areas to get this thing to go, its not a map that looks white.
