Its to prevent 1 manning vehicles,it take some time for the turret to be fully operational so you cant drive and then switch to the gun to kill some ppl and then go back to driving,so just let 1 guy drive and 1 guy gun and let it wait about a minute(or 30 secs,i never use apc or tanks)

so it is used to be that way and just let it be

Lol. Always read the manual it is like the bible

Problem is, is that most of these new kids on the block insist on not reading the manual. Then ruin the game for the rest of us by soloing APC's/tanks, taking kits they don't know how to use, and SLing without knowing what the heck they are doing.
