Now i'm wondeing how many people here have done insurgency and order civilians to become meat shield thus recreated the mobs you see in the movie Black Hawk Down making it a really hard for the enemy to fight back because if they shoot and miss they have a really good chance of killing a civilian and if they don't the few gunmen inside will kill them.

or has anyone made such a huge group of civilans that all the rock they throw together is enough to kill, so you have an attack force of civilans which can kill you but if you shoot them your score goes down and a lot of tickets are lost.

I recall doing that once, it was fantastic but very short, once they sorted it out with an army of restrainers ..

I can see it now. A giant mass of 32 civilians marching to helpless squad of six British.

With enough cohesion, Mumble and willingness from the insurgents, that'd be quite a sight, and quite a fighting force.

wouldnt happen, everyone would just get shot.

Happened back in the day with 10 second civy respawn. A tank gunner got angry and shot the entire mob with the coax. We then see he died and has the lowest score

Don't vehicles get exempted from the penalty?

no, u can run them over though... but not shoot

I saw a mini-mob last weekend. An entire squad and a few other civilians got together. One guy on humvee .50 mowed them down, so they all had their long spawn time, but only one guy on the U.S. side had a spawn penalty.

few weeks ago, me and some clanmates (2 full squads)
Where muckin around as civilians, took 3 full squads out with rocks!

a scimitar crew.
a landrover crew. (we hit him in the face when he wanted to run us over)
2 full squads
and a pilot!

Back in the glory days of 7.56 I was in a whole squad of civi's we ended up defending a cache by our selves against a few squads of Brits. When you have 6 rocks at a time going out at one guy they die from one throw.

How did you get 7 people into a squad?

I agree, convoys are better. Nothing more fun that speeding through a hail of insurgent bullets and RPGs.

we lubed the last one up and squeezed him in.

It was fun once upon a time. Spawn times make it lame though.

Now if a team of 30 civilians appeared the best thing to do would be to have a couple of guys shoot them all, then the rest have 2 free minutes of cache hunting.
