BTR-152 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is something that might upgrade the insurgent and or militia APC capabilitys a bit.
Maybe put a AA gun inside like this:
To make their gameplay a bit more interesting?
Any thoughts?

Now that's an interesting vehicle. It reminds me of a German SdKfz 250 armoured halftrack.

For militia sure, but i seriously doubt the insurgents use these. (In RL)

IT could be used by Mec militia, Chechen fighters, Taliban. if someone would make a hezbollah faction they could use it.

this would be a cool thing to see in the game, also don't those highly trained insurgent forces use things like this against Pakistan's military. correct me if i'm wrong but it's that group made of people from the BlackGuard. i don't know much about them just trying my best.

It looks like an M3 Half track and Sdk222 had a baby
But yeah I think this woul dbe cool, minus the quad 50s that would be overkill

This would be a fantastic Chechen APC. Definitely enough room in there for six people + drivers, but also follows the style the Chechens have of being under-equipped compared to the Blufor ("Low-tech," oldish, not too flexible, has weaknesses (low-power turret that exposes itself, if you take after the top picture with a MG (PKM?), wheels, thin armor, able to be taken out by .50s)).
Definitely not an AA gun, it would wtfbbqrape infantry, and we don't have any maps where Blufor has air support.

i see alot of really unrealistic suggestions for the chechens {aircraft etc} but this is actually a good suggestion. this looks like a really old piece of hardware i could definitly see the chechens having these.

About it being the baby of the M3 and SdKfz 250-51, that's pretty close to the truth. The Soviets were heavily influenced by those two designs when they created it after WW2.
I like the idea. It has more protection than the technicals, but is at the same time less powerful than the BRDMs and BTRs that are already ingame. Would suit well for the Chechens, although I do not support the idea of giving it to insurgents or taliban.

Yep it doesnt have a roof so one could toss a nade inside and kill everyone, but its armoured enough to withstand small arms fire or perhaps .50 cal fire for a long period of time like a APC.
