When I start it and Create a new map after It goes past the Name/Size/Detail and all that jazz it crashes. Bf2 or PR_Edit. I've followed all the tuts and It worked before this install of windows. I really don't know whats wrong. I've uninstalled/Reinstalled 2 times already.
Any help would be nice.
Bf2 Editor can really ruin your day.

and if you say you already tried 1000 different things than i also dont know whats left?!
what did you done between "it worked" and "it wont let me create a level" ? maybe you can change it back to "it worked"
i am just trying to help

Actually when I load a map like Fallajuh (After editor files were made) it works and I can edit it. but when start select Bf2 or PR_edit Terrain editor/New map/ Size 256 everything default. It gets to Sky something and crashes. Maybe cause I didn't have the lightmaps installed?
Edit Even with Lightmaps I still get the crash
This is the last text in the console

LMs are really not a problem! so the skydome error might be the problem. did you load up all content to the editor like this :
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189-m ... dding.html
and are you sure u got the latest editor version?!

i had a similar problem
the only way i overcame it was i'd create the new map (titled my_map) then like you described it'd crash
however when i reopened the editor i could load my_map and it'd load fine and i could get on editing it
dont know if you've tried that approach yet, but its worked for me, so hopefully you'll have similar success.
