Squad 2ic

Well I was just looking at the change list and don't get me wrong-I am extremely pleased with the punishment for squad switching, but I wanted to make a small suggestion. Squad switching is a bad thing, but sometimes it is the only thing that can keep a newb (or even a veteran) squad together sometimes. In the tourney each squad has a 2ic (2nd in command). While the 2ic plays a key role in squad organisation and giving order on TS, on the battlefield they are basicly jsut cannon fodder like the rest of the grunts
.
I was thinking that if a squad leader went down, maybe squad mates could spawn on the second man in the squad. He would act as a temporary spawn point only untill the SL could be spawned on again. If the 2ic went down, then there would be no 3ic. The squad would either have to revive the SL or 2ic, or spawn at the nearest flag. Although this may seem liek it takes the improtance away from keeping the SL alive, it allows for squads to stick together better (but no the the extent of squad hopping). SL would still have full control over the commands issued to squads.
The only reason I brought this up is that i can see it become a bit mroe difficult for squads to stick together, especially if the SL is bleeding and can't get a medic to his position. I do not think the squad should die wit hthe SL, there should still be some sense of organisation after he goes down the the spawning system represents.
Thoughts? (no flames plz)
