Will you be giving us USA/USMC guys back are SAW or are we forever stuck with this Mini-me?

I would like to see the SAW back with the None pull back stock I really dislike the Zero LOS pine whole you get with the Mine-me.

the Mini-me-saw may look nice but look don't matter when your in a fight the thing has the littlest los whole in the game i mean come on.

NO I don't want a Mini-me with a aim dot I want the standered issued SAW not a nice looking gun that cant perform its job at the level the saw could.

So are we forced to have a gun that just looks nice or can we get are SAW back please?

R-DEV Katarn said all they need to do is add the heatshield and non-folding stock to the model...but since its a reasonably aesthetic change I don't think its high priority

As Rudd. But yes, the Minimi to my understanding is just the British (Belgium made?) version of the M-249. Just like the Westland Apache is the British version of the Apache.

I think the old sights are the main point of his suggestion, not the heatshield or stock.

I agree with him too on that aspect, the old sights were more useful.

I would like a scoped mini-me more though personally.

the barrel is also shorter and the Iron site is way different and also the hand holder is gone Its Also black If its so low on the list just put the vbf2 one back.

We have this in but the M4 is still 3 round burst lol! crazy.

they say you get what is standered in real life but then they do this its laughable I'll be using the M4/M16 M203 in till they get around to fixing this busted kit

The Para version and the SPW version both have collapsible buttstocks, in addition, the para version is shorter than the standard version of the weapon. IIRC, the in game version claims to be the M249 Para.

Meh but at lest it was usable I think it looked great on max res and max settings.

I don't usually bump locked threads, but the M249 SAW is fitted with the short barrel and a collapsible buttstock by most US combat arms units these days. The FN Minimi-Para OEM buttstock is type-classified M5 in US service. But as part of the rapid fielding initiative it is being replaced with the Improved Collapsible Buttstock (no type classification that I have heard of, yet).
