I think snipers that dont have to move their eye directly "On" the optics should see through their sights like This ->

Not possible to have 2 different levels of zoom with the BF2 engine.
Something slightly like this would be possible, but the rest of the non-scoped screen would be equally zoomed in (but blurred).

Locking for re-suggestion and hardcodedness.
