This is probably been said a few times.

Well I started off with this post for adding slat armor just to the stryker, and now that i've looked into it, Most of the latest combat vehicles have slat armor on their weakest parts.
Abrams, LAV, Stryker, BTR.

I've thought of this for the longest time and never found the right forum to post it. These slats have been installed on most of the stryker's in service currently. Their use is to basically shield the sides of the stryker from RPG's. Its like a metal cage thats about a foot away from the side of the stryker that the RPG hits, and explodes outward before it actually hits the "real" side of the stryker. This would decrease damage taken from an RPG shot at the side of the stryker. This also should be added to the LAV which they have added in real life.

Theres also something else i'd like to add. The abrams apparently needs to be upgraded ingame a bit.
For the abrams, I'm focusing on the Slats, Remote wepons station, and the Armor on the sides.

onto your suggestion, the Devs know, but there has been many problems with the collision mesh on the one created for the scimitars and afaik the same thing happened with the one they created for the stryker.

Yeah was about to say probably has been suggested but I'm on the hunt for Tirak to say his usually thing. One day I will find him and post this image.

Ontopic: I just now realized that they were removed from the Scimitar.

there was a guy in the community that was modeling the TUSK version, that was going to be put into INS mode, but I have no clue what happened to it.
