Assault rifle Deployed mode.

I Re suggest that you re look into putting in Deployed modes for all Assault rifles.
Why you may ask how realistic is it?
In real life Deployed mode dues not mean a Bipods only you can mount your gun on almost anything (a rock a stick a wall a stump a wire anything you can think of.)
In assault rifles the Deployed mode would only be as Accuracy as it is in-game 0.85.
Well if its only going to be the same Accuracy as it is right now why should the [R-Dev] team waste time doing this when they may have better things to do?
Well you can not use a mounted gun standing and you can not use a mounted gun crouching this would remove 99.9% of all dolphin divers.
They would need to code in the game so you can not use your scope/iron site when un-deployed when laying down the opposite to the way the AR rifles are in-game 0.85.
Also they will need to code when you are standing or crouching un-Deployed and you laying down it forces you out of your scope/iron site.
This way would be very realistic and remove the most hated vbf2 moves in the game to date.
What are all of your thoughts?

true
But the question becomes...what item to remove from the kit to add the deployed mode...
Not sure if this would work, but it would be fun to try

Incendiary grenade maybe, wasn´t that also discussed?

you could start removing smoke grenades as there never used right and only your medic and sl truly need them.

I suppose that begs the question, are regular riflemen issued smoke grenades & thermite grenades IRL?

In German Forces mod, G36 is gonna have 2 modes already - 1 for red dot and one for optics. That would be 4 slots taken for assault rifle only.
And I can't imagine life without a smoke nade.

Well doesn't the G36 actually have bipod on it?
Also i see where you are coming from, similiar system in Americas Army. But i think it would be too complicated and personally i think it is absolutley fine how it is, if you are prone you are more accurate.

if you are prone you are more accurate.
the problem is that it takes a little while to get prone etc IRL, and bf2 cannot simulate this satisfactorily in its current form.

I like this.. Lower accuracy when not deployed.
And what to remove... Shovel from all kits, put smoke to slot 2. But give it to the rifleman specialist who has shotgun with bucks and slugs and no smoke. Or make a new pioneer kit that does all the hard labor.

THIS is a LIE if you are prone you are not more accurate go get a assault rifle go out side crouch and fire 30 rounds at a item then do the say laying down you will find supporting the gun with your arms/shoulders is allot harder laying down the only time Prone is good is when deployed using something to support the gun its self taking the weight off of you.
if you cant make this work force the player to turn the safety on and then turn it off be you can go prone.

This isn't possible afaik.

So, in real life, you can't dive to the ground and shoot your rifle?
Your suggestion is unrealistic. It would be pointless to "deploy" your rifle for the sights. It would make it clumsy to use prone, so nobody would prone just because of that negative. Also, if your thinking about making it like the SAW, the deployed mode for the rifle would become a superweapon.
No, unrealistic and gameplay wise.

Hmm I have failed yet to see a soldier dive and then fire his rifle, being prone is more of a "defensive" position, and it's also like Travis said pretty cumbersome to fire your rifle prone.
And that less people would dolphin dive is a big plus. To sum it up going prone would be good for defense bad for offense, I'm all for this idea.

Maybe DEV's could set a weapon usage timer after the player go prone like 5 seconds?

there best bet is to make you put your guns safety on would take the play 2 secs to turn it on the lay down then 2 secs to turn it off the hole time the player is defenseless aka hes dead because he tried to insta lay down for super aim

In real life standing up the rifle is harder to aim, i know this as i have use a rifle and many of my friends say the same thing. Going prone is a much easier way to hold the rifle and generally is more comfortable, well this is what i find in real life.

Your native language is English, I presume. Maybe you could mind the spelling, paragraphs, ending of the sentences etc. It's kinda hard to understand what you want to say. I know my english is far from good, but, atleast, I am trying.

Of course it is, but you won't go prone in real life like you do in PR. With all that gear who are "jumping" on your belly... Not a good idea IMO. You would go crouch and then prone.

I have and own allot of Rifles my self I collected them before I lost my left arm.
laydown and aiming at your target is only easy if your target is at long range and your looking down or at the same height of your target.
Go outside with one of your rifles see how hard it is to.
Start running dive prone then aim up were you have to lift it off the ground its allot harder then looking up when not prone.
when someone hits the ground and starts shooting you there looking up because if they dont all they will see is your feet witch are harder to hit.
my fix would make it so no one would be running around instantly laying down for better aim and fixing a huge bug in the game.

Any way you put it, your "deployed" assault rifle idea is going to turn assault rifles into superweapons.
Turning your safety on in a combat situation, especially if your just going prone, is unrealistic and suicidal.
@Axel Just because he says something, doesn't mean it's true. If you jump into prone, you have to wait 3 seconds, without moving, before your accuracy is decent. Especially with Light Machine Guns. This kills dolphin diver's accuracy..
Why do you think snipers lay down? Your aim steadies when you're laying down, since your body weight is spread out.
