I just tried to play some rounds and got CTDed twice, because once again some retarded kids are having fun with their cheats. One thing i wonder is, why people don´t just rejoin, after a crash occurs? We don´t have a solution against the CTD, as long as DICE doesn´t release a Patch, but we could still resist by don´t let them destroying our fun! So what normally happens is, that after a crash, the players just search for another server or stop playing. Why don´t you just rejoin the server? There is no protection on other Servers as well, so why run away, when the next Server could be crashed some minutes later (like it just happenend on Heros, then on RIP)?

The only thing that happens is, that the Cheater has his fun, since he can manage to kill a full server. If the people wouldn´t run away, it wouldn´t be so funny anymore for them.

except tonight the guy kept doing it...over and over and over, on every USA server, it seemed. it made playing impossible.

Its on all servers, the good thing is that the guys on teh server that you rejoin may see a pattern immerging of a specific ip or name...

Im all for rejoining when the server go's down, I too dont understand the reason why people dont...

i honestly dont see whats so fun about watching a number going from 64 to 0.

Killed the GCA server aswell just as the fighting started getting good

most people though will rejoin the server with the highest number of people on.

I think a lot of people's mentality is that once the server crashes they'd rather just go to bed, go get something to eat, get wasted, empty their bowels, watch pr0n, or what-have-you since the game has already been ruined and there's no use in starting a new game.

Mainly because players know that the little kidies will just crash it again. Happened 3 times to us last night.

Sure, it might happen again, but as i said, you aren´t safe on other servers as well.

Well usualy I do just rejoin...
If I dont the only reason is my crappy PC which needs up to 5 min so start any new programm cuz BF² engine for any reason needs even more resources as Crysis (atleast it seems like for me)

Everytime i CTD its like " Ok Ill get myself a coffee, when Im back i can start PR again" cuz like everything is frozen and I cant even talk in TS...

I would say "rejoin the server, don't let them win" but tbh, my time is as precious as the next man. If it happens repeatedly, I'm gonna jump off and play another game for a while.

I'm not letting them win, I'm living to fight another day

If there's justice in this world the BF2 1.5 patch will help the issue

But then again...when was the last time the world was just.

Every company is a selfish one,who dont just care anything but money, some are better than others to convince people that they are not.

I mostly quit playing for 2 reasons:

It is so frustrating
and second more important reason: I already played way too long and this gives me a legit chance for a break

I say we make a Gigantic Poo Cannon and hunt down the ********.

Any and all excrement will be accepted, especially the ones with the bits of corn stuck in them, those are the best for Gigantic Poo Cannons (GPC's for short)

Anyway, dont let 'em win, do your best to rejoin the server, and try to overcome the urge to rage quit. I for one know it is difficult to overcome, I just do my best to take a billowy deep breath and think of crushing cream puffs with sledge hammers. Some how that always calms me down.
