Does the mod already have these two competetors?
Or as my bold request to add it into the mod?(I know a little about modding...but I am wondering how to make a STEALTH effect And Radar guided missiles...Does the script property exist in bf2? )

This really depends on the time period selected for the game. I believe BF2 has already revealed the SU37 in screenshots, although I might be mistaken about this.

To balance~ in many ways (it's just my own opinion...)
1.you said that JDAMs are going to cause the game unbalanced... but may but there is a way to reduce the adavantage:
also iput some realistic thing into the game to balance
like more effective antiair missles or lesser amoung of bomer appearing in game...(Also there could be unbalance that the rebel may have better ambush abilities...)
2.raptor is going to have initial combat abilities in 2005, so as the release time of this mod , it may be in the airforce for combat~
and i suggest to made it a air dominating fighter but reduce its power by lessen the among of planes in maps...(It would be realistic, right?)I would say that is because of F-15s might not be effective encountering Su-37s...(And that the air dominance is not of US , and that's not realistic! The rebel may got other advantage like the more weapons and vehicles in map...)

Your suggestion regarding the JDAMs belongs in that thread. I suggest you post it there.

As for the F22 and such, this is something we again have to consider when we set permenant the time period we're working with. If the time period is pre-2005, then we're obviously going to have to remove it.

see, the thing is, theres not that many of either around, so it would be realistic to only have them in 1 or 2 places within our mod

The Su-34 (Su-27IB) will be in the original game. We may remove it and replace with another aircraft.

The F/A-22 probably won't be seen in our mod, though.

will the JSF?

I don't see wh ythe JSF should be in htere since it isn't even used yet. The F-22 although I would disagree with it being in the mod would be a more likely candidate since there are already squadrons of them in service.

I would like to see a F/A-22 in game...Because so far I just see a F-15E in game, and it would not be a competitor of Su-37 which the mod is going to have... And you also can apply the model form POE with agreement.

As I said before, we will probably be removing the Su-34.

This was suggested 5 years ago, so lets just skip the resuggestion comments, becouse when a thread is over 5 years old i think its okay to make a reminder ;)

My suggestion is that you make this wonderfull creation of mankind the Russian Fighter in the next Project Reality version.

Su-37

The Su-37 multi-role, all-weather fighter aircraft demonstrator is the latest member of a family of aircraft based on the Su-27, which was developed in 1977 by the Sukhoi Experimental Design Bureau in Moscow and is in service with the Russian Air Force and a number of other countries. This family also includes the Su-27UB, Su-30, Su-33, Su-32FN and Su-35, and has the NATO codename Flanker.

The new feature of the super-manoeuvrable Su-37 fighter is the two-dimensional thrust vector control engines, which allow the aircraft to recover from spins and stalls at almost any altitude, while it is also equipped with full digital fly-by-wire controls.

The cockpit is fitted with four liquid crystal displays for tactical and navigation data, onboard system monitors, and operating conditions control panel. The pilot has a side short-travel control stick instead of a central stick, an avionics control handle and strain-gauging (pressure-to-throttle) engine thrust controls. Avionics for the aircraft will be produced by Kronstadt, St Petersburg.

The Su-37 can carry up to 14 air-to-air missiles and up to 8000kg of ordnance. The twelve external hardpoints can carry air-to-air missiles, air-to-surface missiles, bombs, rockets and an ECM (electronic countermeasures) pod. The aircraft is fitted with one GSh-301 30mm gun with a maximum rate of fire of 1,500 rounds per minute.

The aircraft can be equipped with Vympel R-73E short-range air-to-air missiles with infrared terminal homing and RVV-AE long-range air-to-air missiles with active radar guidance. R-73E (NATO codename AA-11 Archer) is an all-aspect, close-combat missile capable of engaging targets in tail-chase or head-on mode at altitudes between 0.02 and 20km, and target g-load to 12g. The Vympel RVV-AE (AA-12 Adder) air-to-air missile, also known as the RR-77, can intercept targets at speeds up to 3,600kph and altitudes from 0.02 to 25km.

The Su-37 can be fitted with air-to-surface missiles such as the Kh-25 (AS-12 Kegler) short-range missile and Kh-29 (AS-14 Kedge) with a 317kg penetrating warhead.

If you wanna talk about something in an old thread, regardless of how old it is, you should really add to it if you wanna bring up the subject rather then make a new thread, it has the same effect really.

If you give Russian the SU37 Flanker, you had to give F22 Raptor to US...Thats why we got Mig29 and F16 ingame.
