I was playing on a server today, and was two thirds of the way into a map, and I got switched to the other team. I was very disappointed for several reasons.

This game is so realistic, you start to develop a loyalty to your team and become friends with the people in your squad. It takes so long to get into a map and to get to a good location. By that time, you are connected with the people in your squad, and you have a definite plan. It completely removes the entire point of playing the game when you get switched to the other team.

I have gotten switched so many times I am now writing this thread, because I think it really needs to be addressed. When you get switched, you have to turn on the people you were just fighting with. When you are on the voice link and become friends with them, it really sucks to have to go fire on them. I know this may sound like it's just a game and I'm being emotional, but this game is entirely based upon reality, and in reality, you don't turn sides in the middle of a battle. I just think it is wrong.

I conclude this with saying that I think the developers should completely remove the ability of a server to move players after the round has started. If the teams get too uneven, maybe everyone should vote to restart the round. I think it is perfectly fine to be able to move people around during match switches, but during it? No. This has to stop.

Removing them would only cause team stacking and it is a server side setting that is either enabled or disabled by the server admins. So it is technically already in game. Hope this has helped your request, but the people you should be asking are the admins of the servers, and I doubt they will change them for those reasons.

and when its removed? how you wanne switch teams in a way that a clan or something else get on one side to play together?

The only way to get not switched is to be an admin... Or buy a pc thats fast enough to get on the server before others do... So after mapchange u can switch team and a guy that is loading takes your place.

Someone must be swapped and then it was you. If admins are on ask them to get you over or something. Besides this is up to the server admins not the PR devs.

join clan, ask admins to add your tag to smart balance but as Zimmer mentioned sh*t happens

Yeah .:iGi:. has a offer for all clans regulary visiting the server with smart balance so you dont get team swapped but still clan stacking with alot of guys from the same clan is not allowed.

Alot means more then 6-7 I think.

Problibly other servers that has the same offer.

Actually, I was still alive when I got switched last night. That is why it made me so mad.

You probably got shot by a 1337 $nIpz0rz, then AB switched you instantly.

Depends how strict the team balance script on a server is. Some scripts allow for a team to have a few more people than the other team if someone teamswitches. Some scripts instantly switches a person back to their original team if they try to teamswitch. And this maintains a 32 v 32 instead of a 38 v 26
