i have been in several servers that claim making squads before 2:30 causes the "squad bug" i have read other places saying that is not true. Can i get some clarification on this?

It happens when you try and create a squad before the server has loaded (before the timer starts).

or

It happens when 2 squads are created at the same time.

so as long as the counter is going, which come to think of it i have never loaded into a server without the timer going and i have a very fast PC. but as long as the counter is ticking down we are good to go as far as making squads?

Happens when people don't make custom squads, usaully some fool slams his finger on create squad right when another one does so it tries to create 2 alpha squads, with bf2 coding it recognizes this as a threat to national security and quickly breaks the game so it won't be abused anymore.

This is why most servers have the rule to make custom squads for assets etc to encourage people not to break the server. But with noobs around its always going to happen.
