New Gametype

My friend and I have thought about a new gametype aiming more towards a 'special forces' setting. How about a nighttime, woodland map, where team A paradrops out of flyable C-130 planes in an attempt to sneak through the forest with covert weapons and night vision to infiltrate a compound defended by team B. The compound would have walls with floodlights and patrolling sentries and the like. Also, the defending team B could have a detachment dedicated to actively seeking out team A's squads as they sneak around. The objective could be to plant charges inside the compound/fortress/bunker once inside, or something similar. Some map terrain could be woodland with a fortress like suggested, as well as an underground bunker set in a hilly desert, all at night, or dawn maybe.

That whole post was a lot of things that have already been suggested put into one.
* Special Ops missions don't really fit into the aim of PR.
* Night Vision & Night Maps have been "problematic" (putting it politely) in the past, and are for the most part unresolvable
* Pilotable C-130's are out of the question. Maps aren't big enough, and can only have 8 seats.

Hello and welcome to the Project Reality Forums, Your topic has been discussed several times before and it has been decided by the PR Team that Special Forces maps will not be included in PR at this time. In the top right hand corner of your screen there is a button which reads "Search" and at the top of the Suggestion Forum there is a topic labeled "Attention! Already Suggested Suggestions", before posting a suggestion in the future, please use these tools to avoid duplicate threads.
