Hey everyone i have a question how to remove hud in bf2 so u cant see how many ammunition u have in weapon mag etc.

Press tilde (key above the Tab) to enter the console. Then write down this line:
renderer.drawHud 0

Voila! To reverse write the same but with 1 instead of 0 at the end.

but i didnt mean that i mean like to do it in a tweak or con file so it stays for ever

Two options:
1)
menu_server.zip/hud/hudsetup/weapons
Remove it in the file for each weapon you want.

OR
2)
objects_server.zip/weapons/handheld
Change the guiIndex for each weapon you want to 0.

No, punk busters scans it. And if it sees its different you will get kicked of the server. But you will most likely not even be able to join a server.

what do u fu**ing mean, i join every server i want and i got banned only three times for swearing not for fuc**ng PunkBuster and how u know i was kicked of the servers u know my nick in the game or something??

ale tak chodzi mu o zmiany w grze czy w modzie project reality???

a tak wogule nigdy niezmienialem nic w grze, nawet jesli nie zmienialem to jak chcialem wejsc na serva BF2 to mnie kikowalo ze zmodyfikowalem gre
nierozumiem tego.

a zmodyfikowalem tylko project reality single player 0.856 dla mnie bo mi pozwolili a nie jakiegos Bf2 czy Project reality na necie

pamietam ze musialem zainstalowac gre ponownie zeby grac w Bf2 na necie.

Kinda old thread but does anyone know how to disable it on the 1.0 version?

I'd like to have that feature but it somehow seems like the developers have removed that for some odd reason.

If it is for taking screenshots without the HUD on local, you can use the PRBot and click F2.

For daily use on pubs I'm not sure. Why do it need it though?

if you want to get rid of it temporarily, type renderer.drawhud 0 in the ~ window

I'm aware of that command but it's not working for me in Project Reality.

I know you can use PRBOT to remove the hud...

You cannot do it in multiplayer. But you can 'mod' it , but then you can't play pr online.
